Flashback Friday | "Could You Be Loved" - Bob Marley

Today marks what would have been the 70th birthday of Bob Marley. The Jamaican reggae singer started out in 1963 with the Wailers and became well known for his distinctive songwriting and musical style. He is credited with bringing reggae music to audiences worldwide, eventually becoming one of the world's best selling artists of all time. His music and influence is still felt strongly today.

Marley passed away on May 11, 1981 from melanoma which had spread from his foot to his entire body. He is buried in a chapel next to his birthplace in Jamaica with his red Gibson Les Paul.
